Company History

The practice was established by Drew Stephenson in May 1989. Since then, the firm has grown from one staff member to over 12 employees. Mrs Donna Sparks was appointed as a partner of the firm on 1 July 2014.

For the past 32 years, the firm has been based in Torquay Road, Pialba, Hervey Bay. In 2001 the practice relocated to larger premises at its present site at 49 Torquay Road, Pialba, Hervey Bay. Over this period, the team has consistently delivered a quality, professional service to thousands of satisfied clients across Hervey Bay and the Fraser Coast.

All shares in Drew Stephenson Pty Ltd were sold to Entegra (Aust) HB2 Pty Ltd in December 2021, to facilitate the retirement of Mr Drew Stephenson. Drew will continue to be associated with the firm until June 2022.

The practice has previously acquired three other local accounting firms, including Terry McCorley CPA, in 2003 and Accountplan Hervey Bay (Accounting & Taxation division) in December 2015. The firm continues to grow strongly today and is now one of the larger accounting practices based in Hervey Bay.

The firm has a strong focus of supporting and nurturing local clients.

We have a long history as a responsible local employer, and have been a strong supporter of our local University (USC).
